CENTRAL ALBERTA CO-OP
"YOUR COMMUNITY BUILDER"
After serving Central Alberta independently and working closely together for over 60 years, the Board of Directors of the Innisfail and Spruce View Co-ops had a vision for the future of these two Co-ops. After many planning sessions and the member's approval, the decision was made to amalgamate, thus forming Central Alberta Co-op. It has been a year of many transitions and a lot of excitement.
At our Innisfail location, we are pleased to offer our membership and the community, a full food market - located at the Co-op Mall, Home and Agro centres, Full Service Gas Bar with Touchless Carwash, Bulk Petroleum delivery and Cardlock. At Spruce View, we have a Food Market, Home and Agro centre and a Full Service Gas Bar. In March, 2008, we acquired Green Way Farm Supply. At Green Way, we offer full agronomy services, fertilizer, chemical and custom application.
We are proud of the contribution that we make to our communities. We are sponsors of many events being held throughout the year! You'll see our sign at Daines Rodeo, 4H Shows and Curling bonspiels, just to name a few. In 2008, Central Alberta Co-op donated over $50,000 to service groups, school events, community teams and local food banks.
